Domaine de la Provenquière is only producing IGT from Vin de pays d Oc. Situated in Capestang, a beautiful traditional farm house converted to a winery, located along an olive-treed road, west of Beziers, with history that goes along with their popular wine. The Château’s history goes back to the 15th century and remains a familly estate.
Brigitte and Claude, the third generation of the Robert family makes well-focused wine and true to their grapes’ authenticity.
Situated in 30km Northwest of Montpellier, the family estate underwent radical changes in 1998 in order to produce and bottle its own wines under its own label. Frédéric Pourtalié and his sister Muriel immediately gained recognition for their wines. They started the conversion of the domain in 2012.
Frédéric Pourtalié’s wines are a well-balanced blend of Syrah, Grenache, and Mourvèdre.
