Natural wines is a broad term that does not clearly describe how the wine has been produced nor does it have a clear definition from a government body. To enhance our transparency we have chosen not to use this term but we prefer to describe our wines with greater precision and finesse. Most of our producers use these methods: Organic or Biodynamic - Hand-harvesting - Fermentation takes place under the action of indigenous yeast - No use of chemicals - Sulfites as low as possible or none.
Our team operates with honesty and transparency to build a relation on knowledge and trust - with you, our customer."
NOMAD WINE IMPORTERS

Guilbaud - 2 Michelin Stars - Ireland) have joined their efforts in making this venture. Their knowledge, experience and network in the wine industry helped them to establish this company.

)
The roots of the family estate date back from 1760, and today's superb vineyard holdings in Gevrey-Chambertin, Morey-St-Denis and Chambolle-Musigny were united by the marriage of two winemaking families three generations ago. Now in the hands of 41-year-old Romain Taupenot and his sister Virgine, 36, they are the 7th generation to continue the family tradition. All farming is organic and the wine style here is one of elegance and purity, with a base of finesse rather than power.

- DOMAINE ARMAND ROUSSEAU
The Domaine was started at the beginning of the 20th century by Armand Rousseau. Headed up by Eric, Armand's grandson, the Rousseau wines are the antithesis of modern, dark-coloured, extracted styles. Here paler colors hide wines of extraordinary class and intensity. Eric's daughter is more and more involved in the production of these elegant wines. This 15 hectare domaine, based in Gevrey, enjoys a reputation of being one of the most distinguished estates in the Côte-d'Or.
The “Rousseau hand” is a style of wine very recognizable: Fine, elegant and an honest, true expression of the vineyards through the Pinot Noir grape and a little piece of the winemaker.

- DOMAINE PONSOT   (Biodynamic
)
Based in Morey-St-Denis, Laurent Ponsot has run the estate since 1983 and left it over to this year to focus on a new venture. He spends most of his time in the vineyard. For him, healthy grapes are the most important component in the making very good wine. In general, the beginning of his harvest starts later than his neighbouring producers. At Domaine Ponsot they wait until the grape has reached full maturity and sometime even longer. Here, there is only one rule in the vinification process: not to follow any rules. The wines are powerful, rich with a lot of flavours and aromas.
Domaine Ponsot produces a very rare and refined white wine, Morey-St-Denis 1er Cru "Monts Luisants" 100% Aligoté.

Domaine Bachelet-Monnot was only formed in 2005 but it has been cranking out the hits from the get go, with each subsequent release outdoing the last. Once you've encountered the tunes of the Bachelet boys, it's very hard to forget them. Unfortunately, other importers from other markets have also cottoned on to the immaculate quality here, so we don't get anywhere near the volumes we would like.
Marc and Alex Bachelet, thanks to the attention to detail in the vines and in the cellar, received immediate recognition for their Chassagne-Montrachet, Puligny-Montrachet and Maranges 1er Cru.
